Case Study – General Motors

The Garonor Portfolio was a unique and high profile European industrial and logistics portfolio disposal that CB Richard Ellis carried out on behalf of Prologis.

The portfolio consisted of 4 substantial light industrial warehousing estates totalling approximately 580,000 Sq m (6.2 million Sq ft) of accommodation arranged over 304 acres.

The portfolio provided potential investors access to significant critical mass in the Paris distribution market as 93% of the accommodation was located in and around the A86 and the Franciliennne, Paris’ main orbital Motorways, and in close proximity to Charles de Gaulle Airport. 260 tenants were contained within the portfolio, including the likes of TNT, Wincanton, DHL and Geologistics.

The disposal was co-ordinated by London, working closely with CB Richard Ellis Paris. The sale consisted of a complex corporate structure and was efficiently completed within a 3 month timescale.
