The EMEA Industrial & Logistics Team Conference 2008

This year’s conference was a resounding success, with a record number of clients and CBRE attendees from around the world and 3 conference sponsors in the form of ProLogis, AMB and First Industrial.

The conference was started by CBRE’s Head of EMEA Industrial & Logistics team, Guy Frampton, announcing a 72% increase in business line revenues during 2007. There followed highly informative talks from Jan Scheers of First Industrial (trends) Derek Kay of DHL and Richard Holborton (CBRE Research) on retail led logistics, Martin Holub of Kuehne & Nagel (on selling a large portfolio), Ken Hall of ProLogis (carbon neutral buildings), Ray Brimble of Lynx Group on airport related development, and Henk Folmer from AMB on port related development.

Worldwide attendees included Andrew Hathelley (China), John Planeta (Toronto) and Bill Waxman, Nicholas Nitti, Conor Famulener and Tyson Valineri (USA).
